To register on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank please download and complete the following documents:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/EME-affidavit-General-PT-amended-15-Feb-2018.pdf\">EME affidavit- General &#8211; PT amended 15 Feb 2018<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Supplier-Evidence-Bank-brochure.pdf\">Supplier Evidence Bank brochure<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/WCBD-6-1-ANNEXURE-B.pdf\">WCBD 6 1 ANNEXURE B<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/WCSEB-FORM-v6-dated-20-Sept-2019.pdf\">WCSEB FORM v6 dated 20 Sept 2019<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Annexure-A-WCBD-4-issued-with-circular-28-of-2019-.pdf\">Annexure A- WCBD 4 issued with circular 28 of 2019<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/designislife.co.za\/FreePort\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Commodity-List-Annexure-A.pdf\">Commodity List Annexure A<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>All Companies (except Sole Traders) must be registered with the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Companies and Intellectual Property Commission<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<li>For construction-type quotations or formal tenders, bidders must be registered on the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cidb.org.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) register of contractors.<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0What does it mean to be actively registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>You have a valid B-BBEE Certificate.<\/li>\r\n<li>Your WCBD4 form must not have expired.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>NB: All documents are valid for one year from date of issue!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Essential questions to ask yourself if you want to quote or tender?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Do I understand the scope of work?<\/li>\r\n<li>Do I know what documentation I must complete, and what information each document requires?<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Your Tender Check List:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Have you:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Signed the form of offer?<\/li>\r\n<li>Signed and attached all the addenda?<\/li>\r\n<li>Completed all bills of quantities (if required) in the format requested by the client?<\/li>\r\n<li>Included an original valid Tax Clearance Certificate in the submission?<\/li>\r\n<li>Included a valid B-BBEE Certificate in the submission?<\/li>\r\n<li>Submitted proof that you are actively registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank?<\/li>\r\n<li>Submitted proof that you are actively registered on the CIDB register of contractors?<\/li>\r\n<li>Submitted proof of any other requirements requested in the tender data?<\/li>\r\n<li>Submitted tender documents at the designated place, before closing time?<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Important Points to Note:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The quotation or formal tender may require either a one-envelope or two-envelope response. \u00c2\u00b7In case of a two-envelope system, do not include your price and B-BBEE information in Envelope One.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Depending on the terms of the tender documents, the names, prices and preference status of bidders may be read out in public after closing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>What happens next?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Tenders will be advertised in the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/etenders.treasury.gov.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Treasury e-Tender Portal.<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The advertising period is generally for 21 days.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Official tender documents will be issued to interested contractors, suppliers or consultants.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If required, a compulsory briefing session will be held.
